The degradation of lignocellulose as the main constituents of peat is catalyzed by enzymes such as laccase or cellulase. The peat soil used was collected from oil palm rhizosphere in Riau Province. This research used the descriptive method by comparing the mean values between treatments. The results showed that enzymes activities on sterile and non-sterile peat added with laccase or cellulase were higher compared to those without enzyme addition.
The highest laccase activity was at the first day of incubation, while that for selulase was at the 10 th days of incubation. The activity of enzyme then decreased with the increase in the respected incubation time. The decreases in lignin and cellulose contents were higher by addition of respected enzymes both in sterile and non-sterile peat.
It could be concluded that at higher water content, laccase and cellulase activities were depressed both on sterile and non sterile peat, especially after the addition of enzyme.

The waste of cellulose in the agro-industry can be reduced by decomposing the cellulose polymer into glucose. This process was carried out by cellulase enzyme EC 3. Bacteria required food as nutrition to survived their life, can be obtained through growth medium or enzyme production medium. Carbon, nitrogen and calcium belong to the essential nutrients contained in growth medium and enzyme production medium. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the addition of carbon, nitrogen and calcium source and the time of incubation on the production of cellulase enzyme from Seratia marcescens KE-B6 bacteria. The first factor is the type of medium, the first medium is the standard medium M 1 and the second medium is enriched with carbon, nitrogen and calcium sources M 2 , the second factor is the incubation time with 5 repetitions. The enzyme production is measured by the reducing sugar method.
Uji Aktivitas Lakase dan Selulase pada Lignoselulosa Gambut dengan Berbagai Kadar Air
Agro No. Hal ini sangat berbahaya karena sisa miselia yang terdapat di dalam media sisa dapat mendegradasi lebih lanjut media dan mengakibatkan pencemaran lingkungan yaitu terlepasnya gas metana ke udara. Oleh karena itu pemanfaatan sisa media budidaya kuping perlu dilakukan antara lain untuk memproduksi gula pereduksi dengan menggunakan berbagai jenis enzim selulase. Penelitian ini menggunakan media sisa budidaya jamur kuping yang berasal dari 3 jenis kayu, yaitu sengon Falcataria moluccana , jati Tectona grandis , dan meranti Shorea sp. Setelah hidrolisis, kemudian diukur laju hidrolisisnya dan dianalisis kadar gula pereduksinya. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan aras 3 x 3 serta ulangan sebanyak 3 untuk setiap perlakuan.

The purpose of the study was to determine the diversity of the characters from the cellulolytic bacterial isolates and optimum conditions enzyme cellulase enzymes rough so that they can hydrolyze the cellulose to glucose with either rice bran. The characterization includes the determination of pH, temperature and time of optimum crude extract of bacterial cellulolytic enzyme cellulase, determination of Vmax and Km and molecular mass determination of cellulase. Research methods include making media, regeneration of isolates, bacterial growth curve manufacturing, production of cellulase enzymes from bacterial cellulolytic rough at the optimum conditions, the kinetics of enzymatic reaction: substrate concentration factor of the reaction rate with variation of the concentration of 0.
